Vitamin D 50000

My doctor has asked me to take Vitamind D 50 000 IU vitamin once a week because I LOW IN.?
If the order is in or too much? HELP
This is a high dose of vitamin D. The usual dose is 400 IU notice. This will be investigated, but was to be revised upwards, as too low, pretty crazy. 50 000 IU should be ok, if the doc says so – once per week, and that not every day:). I have found in this dose, given in studies. Ask your pharmacist or get a second opinion docs.
